A non water proof female connector is fitted with a concave fitting member of a male connector, a cover assembly fitting with both the female connector and the concave fitting member. The cover assembly is provided with a ring-shaped seal which fits tightly with the rim of the circumference of the fitting member, thereby sealing the portions of the two connectors and that fit together. A gel seal is compressed between the cover assembly and the rear face of the female connector, this preventing water from entering via terminal attachment holes on the rear face of the female connector.
